    Spring in Vienna

Ya'll. When I said spring has sprung, I really meant it! The city is filled with flowers that are crazy beautiful. They are so beautiful in fact, that I am dedicating this entire post to the flowers of Vienna. Cherry blossoms, magnolias, dandelions, tulips and little wild white, yellow and purple flowers just cover the green grass.

It blows my mind when the wind tosses around little pastel petals shower down over me. It's like snow, but so much better because it's a perfect sunny, breezy 70 degree day, instead of frostbite eating your face off. Now I can enjoy an Eiskaffee (double shot of espresso with two scoops of ice cream--whattt?! Just tried my first one while my friend was in town and we're both fans now), outside sitting underneath a beautiful tree reading a delicious book (I'm dreaming, I haven't done that...yet.)

Also this pretty little hidden gem is at Schlachthausgasse behind the U3. I hear the blooms are only good for about two weeks, so if you want to see them, then go fast!

I can honestly say, so far, this is my favourite time of the year in Vienna. Or is it fall? Definitely not winter says the southerner in me. Yes, currently, it is a tie between fall and spring. If you are planning to come to Vienna and enjoy nature's goodness, then spring time may be the best time for you to plan your trip. And if you're not planning a visit to Vienna, then you crazy.

How is the weather, wherever you are? Whatever weather you've been blessed with, I hope you're enjoying it!

Okay, I'm going to go sit in the sun like a cat now. Here's to brighter days!

    xo, Mia
