For today's dose of Flourish, I'm going to piggy back off of my post from yesterday about facing fear head on because I'm that dang passionate about eradicating fear from my life.

One particular fear of mine was rooted in my fear of uncertainty in regards to my purpose. I've been afraid to take a step in any direction, because I fear it's not the correct path for me. It causes me to constantly question my purpose, passion, what I'm called to do and how I'm supposed to do it. It's exhausting, ineffective and completely unnecessary.

'Trust the process'

For starters, its not our place to worry. By worrying, we're telling God we don't trust His plan or His timing and that we doubt He is great enough to work it all out. If we just trust the process and take a step, prayerfully, in whatever direction it may be, doors will open and others will shut, making our paths clear. They could lead us here or there, far and wide and ultimately to the exact place we were created to be. If only we take a step forward.

'You don't have to see the whole stair case, just take the first step'

We have to remember, it's okay not knowing exactly where our paths will go, we don't have to know, I don't think anyone actually knows! We just have to trust the process, take the first steps and grow. That way we're one step closer and that much more prepared for what God has intended for us. This has taken me years to understand and I can finally rest in knowing that I am exactly where I should be. But I'm still preaching to myself, because I can always use the reminder to trust.

xo, Mia
