Acapulco, Mexico Round II

Hello dear friends! It has been a minute since I last blogged. 27 days to be exact, so my apologies. I've really been struggling to stay focused on this creative work, when the work that I get paid for has occupied so much of my time and emotions lately. But, enough of the sad story, THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

Jesse and I recently went on a little autumn trip to Acapulco, our friends who recently tied the knot in Bavaria, had their second ceremony in Mexico, so we packed our bags, said 'OLE!' and took the 13 hour flight to the sunniest and most vibrant place that we've been to together for the second time in our lives.

We flew into Mexico City, drove to Acapulco and pitstopped in the cutest, little city called Taxco, the silver city, where we only had 2 beautiful hours to explore. Despite the time constraint, we saw most it because as previously stated, it is small, and we ran around the place like chickens with our heads cut off. If you have the opportunity, you. need. to. go!

From there, we continued over to the coast and finally made it back to Villa Alejandra, the piece of heaven resort we stayed at for our honeymoon. Days of relaxing and lounging, margarita-ing and helping the couple of the hour plan some last minute details all lead up their amazing- and I mean AMAZING- wedding. Seriously, they had a taco bar for a midnight snack and a new something that I am now obsessed with- esquites, which is basically a cup of hot creamy corn mixed with cheese, chilli, lime, and sour cream-OH MY! I don't know if Jesse and I have ever danced as much, eaten as much food or drank as much tequila as we did this night.

I was honored to take some pictures of the bride while getting ready with her girls and of the couple right after they said I do and these are what I came up with.

Andrea and Miguel, thank you! Being a part of your day(s) was incredible and we love you guys! We wish you nothing but the absolute best!

xo, Mia
