I visited Prague for one long weekend and completely fell in love with the gorgeous city. Steeped in culture, history, grand architecture, an amazing food scene and did I mention, affordable? What's not to love.
I went with my sister and her husband and all of us were awed by the quaintness but grandeur of the entire city. We were lucky enough to stay in an amazing Airbnb in Mala Strana, also known as the 'Lesser Town' for reasons unknown to me, because it was my favorite area of Prague and no less beautiful or breath taking than the city center.
We ate our way through Prague, selfied our way across Charles Bridge and munched on our fair share of Trdlnik, a delicious baked dough rolled in cinnamon and sugar, that presumed the name 'Turtle Necks' by us clowns, cause our Czech was atrocious and because we're just ridiculous.
We lived really well while we were in Prague. And were more than grateful that the sun decided to greet us upon arrival, despite the long, frigid winter we've had.
I will always remember the time we had there. Me, my sister and my brother (in law, as to not confuse or gross anyone out with the idea of incest). What a magical time it was.
Let this be a life lesson to all. GO TO PRAGUE.
